Stepping into this rooftop bar is akin to embarking on an interstellar journey, transcending the bounds of time and space, experiencing the romantic warmth and mysterious allure of the cosmos, savouring a distinct evening of gentle intoxication.
Light blue serves as the main colour scheme, symbolizing notions of freedom and imagination. It inspires contemplation of the concepts of time and space, leading an atmosphere of tranquillity and relaxation. The combination of motion and stillness, achieved through neon lights and dynamic light strips, allows the light to be reflected by transparent surfaces and metallic finishes, creating a sense of technology and futurism. The collision of glass bricks, acrylic, and water corrugated stainless steel plates is a perfect harmony, accentuating not only transparency but also enabling light to permeate every corner through the reflection and filtration of various metal surfaces. This creates a new visual experience for the rooftop bar, evoking a radiant ambiance that transports visitors to the vast universe and the romantic galaxy.
The entrance adopts circular cement walkways of varying sizes, surrounded by the dynamic light strips that elegantly trace their contours, guiding a path towards the heart of the rooftop bar. What comes into view is none other than the flying saucer-shaped glass roof, adorned with lines of neon lights, creating the illusion of a flying saucer descending from the night sky. This feature truly stands out as the eye-catching centrepiece of the rooftop bar. Originally, a short pillar was positioned in the walkway that led from the entrance to the central area. To reconcile between the existing structure and the design theme, water corrugated stainless steel plates were used to surround and fortify the pillar, while stainless steel spheres were introduced as embellishments, addressing the once noticeable peculiar pillar. This thoughtful intervention perfectly aligns with the name and theme of the rooftop bar - SPHERE.
The universe is vast, and so is life. Perhaps, our paths may converge once more in the future. When that reunion occurs, we may transcend the exploration of space and stories, delving into an even more profound and mysterious world. It is as though we have ventured beyond the reality, entering an isolated time and space tunnel that transports us to the boundless universe, gazing upon the moon and experiencing the cosmos intimately, rendering the moon no longer beyond our grasp.
