Interior Design Project Info

The new office is a strategic consolidation for Payments Network, the backbone of Malaysia’s financial markets, into a two-floor corporate office. The challenge was to transform the traditional room-based set-up into a dynamic open-concept office that still offers privacy for various work functions.

Our design encourages interaction and collaboration, key elements for fostering innovation and synergy within teams. Staying true to the Company’s cultural integration, the Payments Network branding team empowered employees to give names to the meeting rooms, drawing inspiration from Malaysia’s iconic rivers and mountains, a token to the Nation’s natural beauty. Some of the standout features include the collaboration areas with murals done by local artists, bringing vibrant artwork to the training room and creating an eye-catching 10-feet mural near the escalator and café area, sparking conversations and enhancing the community atmosphere at the intersection between floors.

To promote employee well-being, the office includes a gaming area with arcade machines, a ping pong table, games console, offering opportunities for recreation and team bonding moments. Additionally, plenty of biophilic elements were incorporated into the space, connecting the occupants with nature and creating a balance between the concrete jungle of Mid Valley and the workspace.

This project successfully balances openness, privacy, and cultural integration, creating an engaging and inspiring workspace for Payments Network’s team to thrive.
