The moonlight shines the brightest in the night sky. As the sky turns dark, Moonlight Cake House positioned at the curved corner of the shoplot, lights up in grandeur from the double-storey façade, adorned with a line of rhythmic hemp ropes in twisted forms. A brand-new concept store shines at its peak, inspired with a secret garden theme and philosophy.
“As you place yourself in the deep caves to explore what lies in the hidden, it will take you to places of new perspectives.” Beyond an average bright-filled interior, the café and restaurant are conceived in a neutral scheme that leaned towards a nature outlook.
Disposed with grey neutral stones, the ground floor makes room for a spoilt display of choices on sweet breads, cakes and pastries. Furbished with cut-out yellow aluminium mesh on the railings, the last step opened up and filled patrons’ eyes with wonder to finding the surrounding decked with rosewood palettes.
Much like a well-landscaped garden at any backyard, the wood tones on the floors are combined with natural stone steps laid as a pathway, besides being filled with garden rocks and pebbles. Instead of a darker shade, white terrazzo table tops coming in round, rectangle sizes furnished the place, paired with a mixture of built-in bench in blue upholstery, loose upholstered blush chairs, along with rattan chairs to grant a rustic look.
Adding more colours to the mix, a rich tropical graphic wallpaper appeared as an extravagant juxtaposition, reflecting as part of nature’s surrounding. Playing the part as vines, the hemp ropes patterned in lines of half-circle are hung in rows on the ceilings, setting aside for imaginary monkeys to swing from one end to another.
With the gold columns holding up the roof; it looks as if an unknown secret is hidden somewhere.
