Meet ‘The Suite’: a single-level dwelling unit in Malaysia. The unit is owned by a young couple that pursues perfection and exquisiteness in their lifestyle, hence similar hashtags are anticipated to be manifesting in their inhabitable space. Vault Design Lab is honorably commissioned to transform the existing dwelling unit into the dwellers’ pursued lifestyle. Inspired by contemporary concepts, the interior spaces are sculptured into an intimate, elegant and yet sumptuous atmosphere.
The inner envelopes of the entire unit are renovated. Off-white wood paneling walls and the ceilings that replicate the wall colour define the soft-hued nature of the interior space. The pale-coloured envelope generously reflects ambient lights and brightens up the whole space. Visually, it maximises the occupied volume. The floors are finely concealed by polished and lustrous marble that extends to a portion of the wall area, provoking the tactile cooling experiences.
A fascinating feature is added on the ceiling - the mirror plane to create an illusion and perception of a double height volume. Once more, visually maximization of the space volume is elaborated.
In order to offer multiple experiences of the spaces, all furniture and decorations are meticulously selected, mostly from designer pieces for impeccable marriage of comfort and elegance. Designer pieces have a high degree of know-how that is continuously refined by the in-depth research on materials and technological solutions, thus enhancing the value of impeccable details.
With the knowledge of competent designers, the composition of every single element is delineated to reveal the exquisite lifestyle beyond serving the functions of each space.
