Guang represents light in Chinese terminology. After hustling through the day, everyone returns back home where usually the lights are illuminated, waiting for their return. The sense of warmth and comfort is somewhat the most precious moment we get to enjoy every day.

Dine, Sake, Belong. Guang Bar defines a space where we dine in and share a drink, with a sense of belonging. Therefore the setup is mostly consisting of loose furniture, creating opportunities for individuals to meet, and creating a never-ending wave of social bonding cycle.

The materials are carefully selected to portray the concept of Guang, hence the fusion of Japanese Industrial. Corrugated zinc panels concealing entrances, exposed brick walls finishing as the blank canvas, and timber architrave structures using Japanese timber joinery methods. Elements that are neutral and create space equality in status & harmonious combination within the space.
