"Landscape House" is a unique design concept that seamlessly merges natural landscapes with modern living spaces. When a homeowner who owns a nursery business partnered with the designer, they transformed this idea into reality. With expertise in plant care, the homeowner enabled a plant-centered interior, significantly reducing costs while creating a lively, health-focused home filled with greenery.
The design prioritizes social spaces, aligning with the homeowner's love for entertaining. Outdoor spaces, the living room, and the dining area became focal points. A vertical garden by the pool, featuring climbers and weather-resistant plants, enhances the outdoor ambiance alongside faux wood floors and concrete accents. Inside, the exposed roof structure with translucent tiles maximizes natural lighting for photosynthesis, making plants a key feature. Climbing plants in corridors form a green barrier, while the dining area’s fenced planting zone bridges the indoor and outdoor spaces.
Irregular wooden flooring, a mix of furniture styles, and simple, nature-inspired decor create a relaxed atmosphere. Charcoal black walls highlight the vibrant plants, while understated lighting completes the look. The staircase combines Turkish and traditional design elements, adding visual interest.
In contrast to the green spaces, the kitchen embraces a bold, retro look with black and white checkered tiles and magenta, black, and white patterns, adding a playful touch. Overall, "Landscape House" embodies harmony between nature and living, promoting a healthy, eco-friendly lifestyle where greenery is integral to daily life.
