This is a beautiful house
We did nothing much. Just make use of the outdoor site terrace, adding on a nice skylight to divert natural light into the new space. We thought to enable the shadow of the outside trees to shower on the new space, making it dynamic with monument object. Yet, the space is static. We love the contrast created by dynamic and contrast.
As we said, we did nothing much. We let the material and its texture speak for itself, we let the light and the form of the new space define its own interior Architecture.
We just love that serenity.
