The atypical shelves design offers flexibility to reconfigures the collectibles at anytime, giving the owner more room to restyle the home in the future. To prevent overwhelming the space, the backdrop are kept simple, in a steely hue.
the redesign is centred on the removal of the original wall that separated the kitchen and utility room from the living hall, with a stretch of functional full height storage and display cabinet with a new entrance into the utility room, and converted it into a whole new functional working area. This approach solved the circulation issues and improved the spatial plan immensely.
The home's efficiency is then further when the kitchen is open up for ample of natural light, bringing more connection between the kitchen and the dining hall. Kitchen features a bar top for home owner who also enjoys the option of working at various spots in the house.
