Interior Design Project Info
This project involved the design and build of an office for a semiconductor company, executed during the pandemic. The building was under Pre-TOP status.
We collaborated closely with the client’s main contractor to ensure that all documentation was meticulously prepared, preventing any delays in deliverables ahead of the building's TOP.
The client purchased a building adjacent to their existing office, and we played a key role in the interior work, creating a seamless link bridge design that harmoniously connects the two spaces.
The new office is a three-story structure that integrates effectively with the production area, necessitating our team to prioritize safety throughout the construction process. Our design concept emphasizes functionality and collaboration, fostering an environment where creativity and innovation can thrive.
The office design features expansive open spaces for ASE staff gatherings and includes a large town hall for hosting events, reinforcing a sense of community. ASE places a strong emphasis on employee well-being and work-life balance, which is reflected in the incorporation of a gym for staff fitness.
Additionally, our design strategically differentiates spaces by department to enhance workflow and collaboration while fostering a sense of identity. We infused local character into the interiors with elements such as Peranakan tile designs in the pantry, which not only add aesthetic value but also celebrate Singapore's rich cultural heritage. This thoughtful integration of design elements ensures that the workspace is not only functional but also inspiring and reflective of the local context.
