Client request: Modern contemporary
Intention: A 2-storey terrace house mixing modern ideas and current styles of the moment to achieve modern contemporary design style. Ground floor features a more neutral colour palette with simple form and shape, function and form taking equal priority. The same pattern of wood used on tv cabinet, kitchen and storeroom supplies a uniform, monochromatic language, create a unified effect from space to space. Neutral colours – off-white and greys envelope the rooms, providing a neutral background for colourful contrasts. While on the first floor, colours are introduced in details to streamline the interior to life.
