Everything went fine with the NU Interior Artwork.
Everything went well.
I worked with Nu Interior between June and September 2019. I had a 40k budget to renovate my 800sqf loft. Nu came off as professional in our initial discussions, as they were well prepared and Pauline (Head Designer I think) could answer all my questions and gave me full confidence to proceed with them.
However, during the renovation process, communication was poor and there were many times when i was left hanging, waiting for a progress update, or an update to the quotation as that was fluctuating due to the nature of the projects. On top of that, Nu tried to upsell on several occasions, including lighting, AC, and bathroom elements. Although it is perfectly normal for IDs to upsell, I did not appreciate the tone when I informed them I preferred to use my own vendors instead. The quality of work is acceptable and I have no complaints about this. Being a first-time homeowner/renovation project, I wished that they played more of an advisor role, instead of asking me exactly what I want. (If I knew i wouldn't have hired them) Overall I'd give them a 6.5/10. If they can fix their communication + add value in terms of advising, they can easily hit a 10.
Nu Interior Artwork did amazing work from design to construction work. Pauline always keeps in touch throughout the whole project. I will engage Nu Interior Artwork for future projects.
