Who is rightfully involved in Atap Pay?

Atap Pay only legally approves three parties to be involved in the transaction. The property owner, the interior design firm, and Atap.co (Mocento Sdn Bhd) would be included in a single legally binding contract, with Atap.co designated as the official escrow agent.

How safe and trustworthy is Atap Pay?

Prior to any renovation or construction work, an Atap.co representative, the property owner, and the interior designer must sign a legally binding contract. Property owners and their chosen interior designers meet to discuss the project’s parameters, including project deliverables (milestones) and a payment plan that’ll be recorded in the contract.

Once a mutual agreement has been signed, the property owner pays the agreed amount to Atap.co in accordance with the payment schedule.

Atap.co will then pay a portion of that amount while holding the remainder in escrow. After acquiring formal consent from both the property owner and the interior designer, once every milestone deliverable has been completed, Atap.co will then proceed to issue the complete fund to their respective designer.
