Haier Celebrates Smarter Living with Launch of AI-Powered L+ Washing Machine

Haier Malaysia is raising the bar for household appliances with the launch of the L+ Washing Machine, an AI-powered washer dryer that simplifies laundry while delivering powerful stain removal, smart fabric care, and fast drying–all in one sleek, high-end machine.

Built for busy, modern households, it handles everything from delicate fabrics to bulky items like curtains and duvets, using intelligent features to customise each wash for optimal results.

The launch marks Haier’s continued focus on expanding its premium appliance range, with 10 more mid-to-high-end products planned for release in the second half of 2025. Backed by strong first-quarter results–including a 20% growth in total revenue and a 21% increase in its washing machine category–Haier is doubling down on smart innovation to meet the needs of today’s discerning consumers.

Smarter, Faster, Cleaner

The Haier L+ Washing Machine makes laundry easier and smarter. Its AI Smart Wash technology adjusts water, detergent, and drying settings based on fabric type and load size, while the Smart Dosing system uses just the right amount of detergent, softener, and bleach to avoid waste and keep clothes clean.

With 20 wash and 17 dry programmes, it handles everything from daily clothes to delicate fabrics and bulky items like curtains. It removes 26 common stains and fits bigger loads with its large 607mm drum. The quiet, energy-saving motor can wash and dry up to 12 shirts in just 59 minutes.

Hygiene Meets Innovation

The Haier L+ Washing Machine is built with hygiene in mind. It includes UV sterilisation, mite removal, and Ultra Reverse Technology to reduce wrinkles and dry clothes evenly. A large multi-layer filter traps pet hair and dust, making it a great choice for allergy-prone homes.

It also keeps clothes fresh for up to 12 hours after washing with its Ultra Fresh Air function. For delicate or non-washable items, the I-Refresh feature uses steam and warm air to remove odours. Everything is controlled through a large 10.1” LCD Smart Screen that’s easy to use.

The Haier L+ Washing Machine retails for RM16,599 and is available at all Haier Brand Shops, authorised dealers, and major retailers nationwide.
